KAY President, CEO, CFO and Director | | Mr. Kay is a geologist with 29 years of gold exploration experience in Europe, South Africa, South America and the United States. During his 10 years (1973-1983) with Gold Fields Mining Corporation, he was responsible for the initial drilling of the 3 million ounce Mesquite gold deposit in California. With Amselco Exploration (BP Minerals) from 1983 to 1985, he was involved in the discoveries of the Colosseum Mine and the Yellow Aster Mine, both in California . From 1985 to 1993, he was founder and President of GD Resources Inc., a highly successful smelter of precious metal by-products from U.S. gold mines. He is currently a director of EPICentrix Technologies, Inc., Arizona Star Resources, Golden Nugget Exploration, Victoria Resources, El Callao Mining and a director and General Manager of International Resource Management USA. | JORGE PAZ DURINI Director | | Mr. Paz is a partner with Paz and Horowitz (attorneys) and has practiced in the mineral law field since 1983. Mr. Paz has been extensively involved in advising companies on mineral exploration and development in Ecuador and was the Subsecretary of Mines of Ecuador from 1992 to 1993 and legal attorney of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Mines. He also helped draft the existing new mining law of Ecuador from 1989 to 1990 and is currently a consultant to the World Bank, with responsibilities that included drafting the new mining law for Argentina. He is also a consultant to the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) with respect to legal aspects of the mining sector. | JOHN SUTCLIFFE Exploration Manager, Latin America | | Mr. Sutcliffe is an exploration geologist with 35 years of experience in precious and base metal exploration in Central and South America, Spain and the Middle East. John is a South American exploration specialist and his considerable experience as exploration manager includes 9 years with Anglo American, 7 years with Billiton, 5 years with Greenwich Resources and 5 years as a consultant to Antofagasta Holdings in Peru. During his tenure with Anglo American in Spain (1989-1991), he was instrumental in the discovery of the Rio Narcea gold belt in northern Spain, now in commercial production.
