Songs

I've arranged this little music and poetry reading into two sections: (1) My Celtic-Oriented Stuff and (2) Everyone Else's *HEE HEE* (which includes the traditional songs—some selections [still to come] with their Gaelic lyrics as well). You can view any of these selections by letting your mouse do a jig on the desired song/poem. At the end of each piece just press the "BACK" button and it will return you to this page so you can make your next selection (or do Highland Fling "oot" the door).

I'll be adding more songs and poems/lyrics every so often, so check back now and again! Who knows? I may even put together a couple of .wav files of this stuff some day. In the meantime, there are lots of fun ones over at Cantaria for your listening pleasure. They've even got the lyrics and chords listed so you don't have to think too much if you want to recreate the music!

Most of these are lyrics to songs I've written, although I have no .wav files of this music for ye. (You can still hear my bluesy kinda stuff, though, by visiting MacMusic Magic). You will also be able to catch a motley crew of Celts (including yours truly and her Mum) singing and playing at Rosemary Davis' SCOTTISH IMPORTS in Covina, California for The Second Annual ROBERT BURNS' ALL-DAY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION on Saturday, January 24, 1998. Last year's event was such a success (even though it was sans Mum due to illness) that we decided to assemble the sassy Scots and pals for another chorus of "Scots Wa' Hae" in honour of himself. As the day approaches there will be updated information at MacMusic Magic, so do check back at Bobby Burns Central after New Year's Day, 1998.
